Duties include: Provides procurement services at post in accordance with provisions for Simplified Acquisitions, which include: receives assigned procurement requests, tracks and reports status of procurement requests and procurement actions until full completion, maintains procurement database. Performs a wide range of tasks including language support and handling of miscellaneous requests on as-needed basis.
Work schedule: Full-time (40 hours a week).
Education: Some college or university studies beyond secondary school education are required.
Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative/para-professional experience is required.
Language: Level IV in English and Russian is required. High degree of proficiency in both the written and spoken language, including the ability to translate. On occasion, the job holder may need to act as an interpreter.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to work under pressure, excellent organizational skills, comfortability in use of PC and all standard MS applications are required. Drivers license is required.
Candidates must complete an "Application for Employment" form, which is available from the United States Embassy Guards' Office located at Starovilenskaya Street #46 in Minsk. Non-Belarusian citizens must attach a copy of legal residency and/or work permit.
