Candidates should have initiative, good interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and a high standard of self-presentation. Candidates should be computer literate, and have excellent spoken and written English. Previous relevant work experience is desirable.
 
The position will involve a wide range of work in support of the Entry Clearance Officer’s activities. The main purpose of the job is to assist the Entry Clearance Officer in all aspects of visa and Consular work providing a fast, efficient and effective service. This will focus on the following responsibilities: accurately interpreting during interviews and translating supporting documentation when required; responding to written and telephone inquiries appropriately; providing customer support including accurate information about entry clearance matters; and clerical support.
 
Working hours will be from 0900 to 1730 Monday to Thursday and from 0900 to 1500 on Friday.
