announces a vacancy in UNDP project
 
 
Capacity Building of SALW Stockpile Management and Security
 
This project aims at solving the problems of secure storage and management at the SALW stockpiles. The project will enable the SALW stockpile management and security within Belarus to be at a level corresponding both to national requirements and to recommendations set out in the UN Integrated Disarmament Demobilization and Reintegration Standards (IDDRS) and the OSCE SALW Best Practice Guide ‘Stockpile Management and Security’.
 
Administrative and Financial Assistant
 
 
Provides assistance to the Project Manager/Chief Technical Advisor in the implementation of day-to-day project activities, being responsible for all administrative (contractual, organizational and logistical) and all accounting (disbursements, record-keeping, cash management) matters under the project.
 
 
Qualifications and experience:
 
  • University degree in economics, management, or similar;
  • At least 2-year experience in administration of technical assistance projects;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Russian;
  • Outstanding time-management, organizational and inter-personal skills;
  • Excellent computer literacy.
