UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME IN BELARUS 
announces vacancies in UNDP-GFATM projects
 
“Prevention and Treatment of HIV/AIDS in the Republic of Belarus” 
and 
“Support to the National Programme “Tuberculosis” in the Republic of Belarus”
 
The Projects are directed at assisting the Government of the Republic of Belarus in its activities on prevention of HIV-infection and tuberculosis among vulnerable groups, providing access to treatment, extensive information and educational campaign among population, setting up the national Monitoring and Evaluation system, realization of prevention activities in the penitentiary system of the country. Both Projects are financed by the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
 
Two Administrative Assistants/Interpreters
 
 
Provides assistance to Project Managers in the implementation of day-to-day project activities, being responsible for translation/interpretation, all administrative and recruitment matters under the project.
 
 
Qualifications and experience:
  •  University degree in linguistics;
  •  At least 2 years of work experience as an Interpreter/Assistant in international projects or organizations;
  •  Experience in administrative work;
  •  Excellent command of spoken and written English;
  •  Good computer skills.

Two Finance Assistants
 
 
Finance Assistant is working under the direct supervision of the Deputy Project Manager and assists in implementation of project finance management in accordance with the UNDP procedures and rules.
 
 
Qualifications and experience:
  •  Secondary Education with specialized certification in accounting and finance. University Degree in finance, economics or any other relevant field desirable but it is not a requirement;
  •  At least 2 years of relevant finance experience at the national or international level;
  •  Good written English;
  •  Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web based management systems.
